“Not another Sephora haul!” – I can almost hear the groans as I publish this blog! Yep, I know – but you’ve clicked this far so we might as well roll with it right? Plus, I did buy some pretty great products which I want to shout about…so I am going to do just that!

Like most girls, I am like a kid in a sweet shop when it comes to setting foot in Sephora. I don’t know why, but I don’t get the same thrill when entering into a UK department store – there’s never as much choice, the brands are all the same and let’s face it, being in the US beauty shopping is major excitement in itself!

I tried to pick up a good range of products on my latest visit, with skincare and make-up – here’s what I came back with:

Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick

With winter well on its way, I’ve been looking for a full coverage foundation to add to my collection. I didn’t want anything too thick as my combination skin goes into overdrive, but the Vanish Foundation Stick delivers ‘maximum coverage with minimum product’. With a few strokes of the stick on my cheeks, chin and forehead, the foundation blends effortlessly with my Zoeva 102 Silk Finish brush. I combine with the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base, which ensures nothing slips throughout the day!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Concealer

If you suffer with breakouts or scarring – you need to get this concealer! I suffer with bad acne and I originally went on a hunt for DermaColour in the US. When I couldn’t find it, I picked this up as a second choice and I am so glad I did – as it cover imperfections and makes my skin look flawless. I use the tiniest amount of product on a brush to dab over my spots, and then use a beauty blender to finish. It sounds silly – but I am nowhere near as self-conscious about my skin since using this product!

Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip Clay Cleanser

You can buy this in the UK at SpaceNK, but the shop assistant was raving about it so much I had to add it to my basket. I was looking for a deep cleanser to use alongside my make-up remover and this one fit the bill when it comes to balancing the skin. It’s taken a little while for my face to adjust to this – with any new products I seem to breakout easily, but now it has settled down and my skin feels so fresh and so clean after using. Plus – with a few extra pumps it can be turned into a face mask, so really it’s a two in one!

Bobbi Brown Lip Colour in Rose Berry

I am a big fan of Bobbi Brown in general – so when I went looking for a winter berry lip colour I headed straight for their counter! I seem to have a lot of reds, pinks and nudes in my collection – but I haven’t rocked a berry look in a while. This colour is subtle, great for pale skin tones and looks great against my silver grey hair. Definitely one for the Christmas parties!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in Lovely

Matte colours are all the rage at the moment – and this liquid lipstick range is great for those who are ‘on the go’. Easy to apply and sets in seconds, I wanted to buy the whole range…but instead settled on the pinky nude shade ‘Lovely’.

Clinique High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara

I’ve tried a lot of mascara’s in my time, but Clinique always come out on top in my opinion. Ever since I received a sample product in Cosmopolitan magazine I’ve been hooked. This ‘extreme’ series features a bigger barrel, a bigger brush and you guessed it….bigger lashes as a result! I love that I only need one coat of this stuff and I am set to go. Any more and it starts to clump – but one coating goes a long way.

Pure Solid Cleanser by Beautyblender

I hate cleaning my makeup brushes. And I don’t do it anywhere near as much as I should (probably shouldn’t admit that one). It always seems like such a chore – so when I spotted this solid cleanser I instantly picked it up to see if it would make my life easier. Turns out, it really does. Now all I need to do is dampen, swirl and rinse my brushes under the tap – and that really is it. No more soaking in baby shampoo – or stroking furiously into layers of kitchen roll…we’ve all been there!

So there we go – you made it through another Sephora haul!
