My skincare routine is pretty rubbish and I am the first to admit that. Don’t get me wrong, I never sleep in my make-up or go without moisturising, but I find the whole thing such an effort.

In the past few months I have ditched face wipes in favour of water or oil-based makeup removers but the transition has been a hard one. My two minute wipe across the face in bed has turned into a ten minute regime in front of the mirror in the bathroom. Don’t even get me started on exfoliating or face masks.

I have been on the lookout for skin products that have no fuss, are easy to use and most importantly do the job. Here are my findings:

Botanics All Bright Micellar 3 in 1 Cleansing Solution

Probably the best micellar water I have come across yet. I literally haven’t used anything else since receiving this and not only does it work quickly but it doesn’t break the bank at only £2.99 from Boots. I used to go through copious amounts of cotton wool pads with other micellar waters, but this one takes my whole face of makeup off with only one pad. Simply apply a few dabs to the cotton wool, apply to eyes for a few seconds and watch your makeup wipe away in one foul swoop. Even better, I can still do this sat in bed in my pjs because it doesn’t require rinsing. Perfect!

Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Facial Wash

This product has been around for a good couple of years now but I have never been one to use facial washes (I know, gasp!) because again I see them as being too time consuming. There is nothing worse than applying a wash that takes an age to rinse off, only to find that you’ve missed a spot when you come to get dressed later on. The pink grapefruit wash is more of a soap than anything else and comes with a handy pump for ease of application. I take this product into the shower with me to save even more time and apply when letting my hair conditioner do its job. Because the wash lathers in your hands and is very soft, this is a really easy product to apply and then take off again. I feel like I am just washing my face rather than using a skincare product and by the time I have finished rinsing my hair, most of the facial wash has come off too. Time saving and purse friendly at only £4.94.

Frank Original Coffee Scrub

I feel so lucky that Macmillan sent me the Frank Body Scrub last week as I have read so many good things about this from other bloggers. Frank Body are backing the Macmillan Cancer Support World’s Biggest Coffee Morning that is due to take place on Friday 26th September and want to encourage beauty junkies to get behind it too. The scrub comes in an eco-friendly brown paper envelope that can be re-sealed to keep the scrub fresh. In the shower, I applied one generous scoop of this scrub to my whole body, paying particular attention to problem areas. The scrub smells and looks just like ground coffee so it felt a little weird rubbing this all over. I could feel the granules getting to work on my skin and after rinsing it felt silky smooth and ‘awake’. A great one to apply if your skin is feeling a little tired. I would recommend using this after shaving your legs too, as the scrub will make your pins feel amazing! I love this scrub and I cannot wait to use it again. Beware, it is a little messy, the scrub gets everywhere! You can buy it for £11.95 here. Don’t forget to register to host your own Macmillan Coffee Morning at http://www.macmillan.org.uk/coffee.

So there we have it…my new time saving skincare routine! Have you tried any of these products? What did you think? Tweet me @alldolledupuk.
