Beauty staplesIt seems like ages ago that I wrote my last beauty post, but there have been so many products I’ve been enjoying lately I just had to share them with you. I’ve been branching out and trying some new brands recently instead of reaching for my normal go-to staples. In doing so, I’ve discovered some new favourites and there have been five products that I simply could not go without now. Here’s what I’ve been loving:

Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser

You’ve probably read a million reviews on this one already, but it really is the best cleanser and great value for money. I am on my second bottle now, having got through the first in around three months. I love the gel consistency, it’s lightweight, not greasy and gets all my make-up off with only two pumps. Usually when I travel, I reach for the make-up wipes – but the size of this bottle makes it perfect for throwing in my overnight bag. I rarely re-purchase skincare, but I plan on keeping this in my routine for a long time.

Glossier Moisturising Moon Mask

I’m a little bit obsessed with Glossier at the moment (who isn’t?), and this Moon Mask is perfect for dried-out winter skin. Even when I wash my hands after applying a thick layer to my face, this mask makes them feel baby soft. My skin drinks up the moisture, and I always feel so rejuvenated after using it. Put this in your basket now, you won’t regret it.

Clinique High Impact Lash Elevating Mascara

I’ve been using the Clinique High Impact Mascara for a long time, ever since I received a free sample with a magazine a few years ago. This time, when I went to re-purchase I was offered the ‘Lash Elevating’ version, which is the same product but with a different brush. It mimics the effect of having your lashes lifted, with an angled brush which reaches into the far corners of your eyes. I’ve learnt that a little goes a long way with this mascara, and my lashes really do look like they’ve had the LVL treatment.

JLM Mineral Magic

A product from JLM in my must-have beauty list! You’d better believe it…this powder is a game-changer. I was recommended this product by the girl who did my make-up for my best friend’s wedding, and I was sceptical to say the least. However, for under a tenner with a brush included, this is such a bargain! I use it to set my foundation in the mornings and then for touch-ups throughout the day. It’s lightweight, matte and the shade matches your skin tone instantly. You can usually find it in Boots.

Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk

Again, a beauty staple for many, but this has been sat in my make-up drawer for about a year now unused! It came up on somebody’s Instagram stories over Christmas and I decided to dig it out, and I am seriously regretting not hopping on the bandwagon earlier. This lip liner is the perfect nude on its own, or a great compliment with other neutral shades. The creamy formula isn’t drying in the slightest, and Charlotte Tilbury isn’t joking when she says it has six hours of staying power. I am well and truly converted when it comes to lip liners – where have they been all my life?

So there we have it – five beauty products that I cannot live without right now! Do you have any of them?
